These Terms set out the conditions for using "Formy Community" (the "Community"), the message board feature within Formy (the "Service"). By using the Community, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Purpose of the Community)

The Community is a place for dancers, dance instructors, and team organizers to exchange information such as member wanted ads, student recruitment, event announcements, performer calls, and dancer self-promotion. Use that does not fit this purpose may be refused.

Article 2 (Conditions of Use)

1. Login is required to post and browse.
2. Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before using the Community.
3. Commercial posts by dance schools, studios, and the like, such as student recruitment and event announcements, are permitted within the scope of the Community's purpose.

Article 3 (Posting Rules and Prohibited Conduct)

The following posts and conduct are prohibited. Where a post or conduct falls under any of these, we may take measures such as unpublishing, deletion, or suspension of use without prior notice.

1. Including personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, or LINE IDs in the body text or images of a post (for contact details, please use external links such as social media accounts or application forms)
2. Impersonating another person, or posting false information
3. Defamation, discriminatory expressions, threats, or harassment
4. Solicitation for dating or romantic purposes, obscene content, or content harmful to minors
5. Solicitation for pyramid schemes, information-product sales, religious or political activities, and the like, as well as advertising unrelated to the purpose of the Community
6. Recruitment involving high registration fees, penalty fees, or the like that does not clearly state those terms
7. Content that infringes the copyrights, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of third parties (such as images reposted without permission or photos of people taken without consent)
8. Repeatedly posting the same content, or other spamming
9. Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
10. Any other conduct the operator deems inappropriate

Article 4 (Review and Publication)

1. Posts are published after the operator reviews their content. Review may take several days.
2. Whether a post is published is decided at the operator's discretion, and the operator is under no obligation to disclose the reasons.
3. Posts are limited to one per person per week (you cannot post again for 7 days after submitting). This limit may change.
4. Even after publication, posts may be removed following reports or re-review.

Article 5 (Interactions Between Individuals)

1. Any contact, meetings, or exchanges of money arising from posts are entirely at the parties' own responsibility.
2. When meeting someone for the first time, we recommend meeting in a public place and with more than one person present. Minors must consult a parent or guardian.
3. We recommend confirming financial terms such as registration and lesson fees in writing or similar form in advance.

Article 6 (Reports and Measures)

1. If you find an inappropriate post, please let us know via "Report" in the post details.
2. Against users confirmed to have violated these Terms, we may take measures such as deleting posts, suspending posting privileges, or suspending accounts.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property and Handling of Posted Data)

1. Copyright in posts belongs to the poster. However, the poster grants the operator a royalty-free license to use posts to the extent necessary for operating and promoting the Service (such as display within the Community and quotation in introductions of the Service).
2. The poster warrants that their posted content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

1. The operator does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of posted content.
2. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Community, or from disputes between users or between users and third parties, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
3. The Community may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

Article 9 (Requests to Delete Posts)

If you wish to have your own post deleted, please contact us through the contact address. We will delete it after verification.

Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)

These Terms may be changed as necessary. Important changes will be announced through notices within the Service or similar means. By using the Community after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the change.

These terms apply to the paid "Formy Pro" subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms in addition to the other terms on this page.

1. Plan and Price

Formy Pro is a monthly subscription billed at the price shown at checkout (currently US$4.99 per month; any promotional price applies as described at the time of purchase and remains in effect for as long as the subscription stays active). Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) depend on your country and are shown at checkout.

Invited accounts. A limited number of accounts may be granted Formy Pro at no charge through an invite code. No payment method is required and nothing is billed. Such a grant lasts for as long as the account exists and Formy operates the Service, is tied to that one account, and cannot be transferred or resold. If we ever have to discontinue the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and provide a way to export your data.

2. Billing and Auto-Renewal

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. The renewal amount and date are shown at checkout and on your receipt. Payment processing is handled by our payment partner acting as merchant of record; their name may appear on your card statement and receipt.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel online at any time from "Cancel subscription" on the Formy Pro screen in the app — no phone call or email required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro features until then. (Our payment partner's billing portal also offers a cancel option; that one ends access immediately.) We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months, except as described below or where required by law.

4. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with Formy Pro, contact us within 30 days of your first charge and we will refund it. For consumers in the EU/UK: by starting the subscription you request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right lapses once the service has been fully performed for the billing period; the 30-day first-charge refund above is offered regardless. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.

5. Changes to Price or Features

If we change the subscription price or materially reduce Pro features, we will notify subscribers by email or in-app notice at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the change takes effect; continued renewal after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

6. Free Plan and Your Data

Core features of Formy — creating and editing boards within the free plan limits, issuing share links, and viewing shared content — remain free. Canceling Pro never deletes your data: projects beyond the free limit remain viewable and exportable, and you can archive projects to continue editing within the free limit.

7. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old (or at least 16 if you reside in the European Economic Area and local law requires parental consent for data processing below that age) to create an account or purchase a subscription. Viewing shared links does not require an account.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you habitually reside.

Formy (the "Service") handles user information as follows. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy and the Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

1. Account information: your name, email address, and profile picture obtained from your Google account or similar when you log in
2. Information you create and post: position board data and content posted to the community (display name, body text, images, links, etc.)
3. Usage information: usage logs such as access date and time, features used, and device type
4. Notification information: a notification token if you allow push notifications

2. How We Use It

1. Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service (including saving, syncing, and sharing data)
2. Reviewing community posts, responding to reports, and preventing misuse
3. Sending notifications such as news and update information (you can turn off push notifications at any time)
4. Improving the Service by analyzing usage
5. Ensuring normal operation of the Service, such as monitoring for abuse and misuse and investigating outages and defects
6. Review and analysis by the operator of parts of the board data users create (summary information such as song titles, artist names, scene structure, and headcounts) in order to operate and improve the Service
7. Creating statistical, anonymized information that cannot identify individuals (such as genre trends and usage scale) and publishing it in introductions of the Service, promotional materials, announcements, and the like

3. Provision to Third Parties

Except where required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without the individual's consent.

4. Use of External Services

The Service uses Firebase, provided by Google LLC, for data storage, authentication, and notifications. Data is stored on that company's servers, which may be located in the United States (Google LLC participates in applicable data transfer frameworks). Google Analytics may be used for usage statistics; analytics tags are not loaded for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Formy Pro payments are processed by a payment partner acting as merchant of record; we do not receive or store your card details — the payment partner handles them under its own privacy policy, and shares with us only the information needed to activate your subscription (such as your account ID and subscription status).

5. Scope of Disclosure

The display name, post content, and images you post to the community are visible to other logged-in users. Your email address is never disclosed to other users.

6. Retention and Deletion

If you wish to delete your account or your data, please contact us through the contact address. We will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be changed as necessary. Important changes will be announced within the Service.
